Auction Catalog Collections
Collections of catalogs from major international auction houses (Bloomsbury, Sotheby's and Christie's) pertaining to auctions that took place primarily in the early twentieth through the late twentieth century. The majority of the catalogs are for manuscript, book and jewelry sales, but a third collection recording auctions of a variety of other items is currently under development.

Materials on budgeting, estimating, creative process, layout, design, illustration, photography, typography, platemaking, paper, ink, printing processes, die cutting, embossing, binding, finishing and specialty printing.

Bound and loose prints and artist's archive, which includes sketches, proofs, exhibition booklets, reviews of shows and correspondence between Hanka and other artists, writers, galleries, publishers, etc. Some of the books associated with this archive have been cataloged separately and are searchable via Western Michigan University Libraries online catalog otherwise they appear in this finding aid.
